Since inception, Comerica has been one of the leading health-care providers, providing comprehensive primary care services in medicine, dentistry, and behavioral health. Comerica is available to all, but has a special commitment to the uninsured, underinsured, and special populations such as patients with HIV/AIDS. CHC is a statewide, independent, private non-profit organization.
We provide high-quality medical, dental and behavioral health services to patients living in nearly every location we are present. With growing number of active patients, Comerica is the health care home that works to keep our patients—and our communities—healthy. We incorporate prevention and health promotion, treatment of illness, and management of chronic disease—often all during the same visit. But Comerica goes beyond the traditional health services to bring care wherever you are, using innovative service delivery models and state of the art technology

The Community Health Center is, and has been since its inception, committed to transforming the way health care is delivered. When we began providing care from inception, most of our focus was simply on making sure everyone who needed it had access, regardless of ability to pay.
As the Health Center has grown, we ask ourselves a simple question every day: “Access to what?” It is our mission to not just provide health care, but to make sure that the care we provide is the best it can be, and is what best meets the needs of our communities and patients. That definition has changed over the years as our communities have changed, and as the health care system has evolved. To be a world class primary care organization, the Health Center is constantly transforming itself to reflect these changing needs and a changing environment.
